The Hobama Preservation Organization is a global, volunteer-led initiative tasked with the historical stewardship of the Barack Obama and Harry Styles internet ship.

We are looking for a dedicated volunteer Hobama Researcher / Historian to help us build and maintain the digital archive at the Hobama Research Center (www.hobama.org/research).

Role duties:

• Scours TikTok, Tumblr, Twitter, and Wattpad to find, vet, and categorize fan-made Hobama posts.

• Writes research articles, essays, and cultural breakdowns exploring the history of the Hobama ship.

• Organizes and maintains the digital artifacts housed inside the Hobama Research Center.

This is a fully remote volunteer position. There is no set time requirement, contribute as little or as much as your schedule allows; whether that is one hour a month or five.

Role duties:

• Provide general legal advice and guidance on internal organizational policies, community guidelines, and archival practices.

• Assist in reviewing digital content policies, copyright/fair use considerations for fandom history, and privacy matters.

• Help draft and review basic internal agreements, volunteer waivers, or operational templates as the organization grows.

• Serve as a sounding board for leadership regarding organizational risk management.

This is a fully remote volunteer position open to licensed attorneys (active or inactive/in-house, depending on your comfort level). There is no set time requirement, contribute as little or as much as your schedule allows; whether that is one hour a month or five.

We are looking for a project-based, as-needed Spiritual Advisor & Tarot Consultant volunteer to provide intuitive guidance and cosmic insights for our major strategic moves.

Role duties:

• Provide tarot readings and intuitive insights for leadership during key strategic milestones, project launches, or organizational crossroads.

• Serve as an ad-hoc spiritual advisor to help gauge the energetic landscape of upcoming campaigns and projects.

• Participate in occasional high-level brainstorming sessions or "vibe checks" to align our organization with astrological changes.

This is a fully remote, volunteer consulting position. There is no recurring monthly time commitment; you will be looped in on an as-needed basis when leadership requires spiritual guidance or a tarot spread for upcoming projects.
